Traditional Use
The Greeks, Romans and Egyptians held the Cypress tree in high regard; it was dedicated to the gods of the underworld. This explains the reason why Cypress trees were planted in cemeteries, hence the meaning of semperivens, 'ever living'. The Tibetans to this day still use Cypress as a purification incense. For centuries, it has been used for respiratory and urinary infections, internal bleeding, excessive perspiration and liver disorder.

Therapeutic
Temporary relief from the discomfort of haemorrhoids. Add 6 drops to 10ml Hypericum; base oil or base cream and apply directly.

To assist in the maintenance of peripheral circulation. Add 6 drops to 10ml Vegetable Glycerine, then add mixture to bath; or add 6 drops to base oil or base cream and massage affected area.
