Traditional Use
Like most citrus fruits, lime was highly prized by the sailors to help prevent scurvy. Other traditional uses include treatment of fevers, colds and flus, throat infections and dyspepsia.
Emotive
Enlivens, energises and increases flexibility allowing worries to be set free. Peps up when lacking drive and had enough, creates a refreshing outlook. Gives an air of stability when thinking too much.
Therapeutic
Temporary relief of bronchial cough and the relief of symptoms of colds and flu. Add 6 drops to 1 litre of steaming water, cover head with towel and inhale for five minutes. If cough persists, consult a health care professional.
Skin & Hair Care
To treat warts and corns add 6 drops to 10ml base oil or base cream and apply to affected area.
Treatment of acne and oily skin. Add 3 drops to 10ml base cream and apply to affected area. Alternatively add 3 drops to 10ml Vegetable Glycerine and add mixture to 1 litre of warm water for compress.
