Traditional Use
The fruit of the Mandarin tree was traditionally given as a gift to the mandarin lords of China, where its name originated. In 1805, the Mandarin tree was introduced to England and forty years later, it was imported into America. In France, the Mandarin has been traditionally regarded as 'the childrens' remedy', where it was and still is used for digestive ailments. Its use also aided in strengthening the liver and digestive system of the elderly.

Serene and tranquil, promotes an air of inspiration and openness. Allows progression if stuck in the past. Encourages to release grief. Gives strength to see the world without rose coloured glasses.

Therapeutic
To help relieve nervous tension, stress and insomnia. Add 6 drops to 10ml base oil or base cream and massage pressure points. Alternatively add 6 drops to 10ml Vegetable Glycerine and add mixture to bath; or add 6 drops to vapouriser.

To aid digestion and prevent flatulence. Add 6 drops to 10ml base oil or base cream and massage stomach in a clockwise direction. If symptoms persist, seek medical advice.

Skin & Hair Care
Treatment of acne. Add 3 drops to 10ml base cream and apply to face, or add 3 drops to 10ml Vegetable Glycerine and add mixture to 1 litre of warm water for compress.
