Traditional Use
Considered a versatile herb, the Greeks called it 'joy of the mountains', stemming from the word oregano. It was used to warm diseases that were caused by coldness. Marjoram was considered valuable in treating arthritis, muscular aches and stiffness, bruises, digestive and menstrual complaints, and respiratory infections.

Creates an ambiance of calmness, perseverance and confidence. Known to comfort hearts stricken with grief. Promotes a quiet and warm disposition.
Therapeutic
Temporary relief of headaches and insomnia. Add 6 drops to base oil or base cream and massage pulse points. Alternatively add 6 drops to 10ml Vegetable Glycerine and add mixture to bath; or add 6 drops to vapouriser.
Temporary relief of the pain of arthritis and muscular aches. Add 6 drops to 10ml base oil or base cream and massage affected area. Alternatively add 6 drops to bath 10ml Vegetable Glycerine and add mixture to bath, or add mixture to 1 litre of warm to hot water for compress.
