Traditional Use
Indigenous Australians have long used Tea Tree for relieving headaches and colds. The disinfectant properties of Tea Tree were published in The British Medical Journal (1933). There have been many studies conducted on the suspected anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties of the essential oil.

Therapeutic
For the relief of sinusitis and the symptoms of mild upper respiratory tract infections. Add 6 drops to 10ml base oil or base cream and apply to chest area. Alternatively, add 6 drops to 1 litre of steaming water, cover head with towel and inhale for 5 minutes.
Skin and Hair Care
For cuts, minor burns and abrasions. Add 6 drops to 10ml base oil or base cream and apply to affected area. Alternatively add 6 drops to 10ml Vegetable Glycerine and add mixture to 1 litre of cold water for compress.
Treatment of acne and oily complexions. Add 3 drops to 10ml base cream and apply to affected area. Alternatively add 3 drops to 10ml Vegetable Glycerine and add mixture to 1 litre of warm water for compress.
