What is Melatonin?
Melatonin is a ubiquitous natural hormone-like compound produced in the pineal gland (embedded deeply in the brain). This hormone is involved in numerous aspects of general circadian and physiological regulations. It sets and maintains the internal clock governing the natural rhythm of body functions. The amount of Melatonin produced by our body seems to lessen as we get older. Scientists believe this may be why young people have less sleeping problem than older people.
What is the function of Melatonin?
Melatonin regulates immunity, the stress response and some aspects of the aging process. Clinically, Melatonin has been used in rhythm disturbances and sleep disorders.

Contains as homeopathic ingredient 3mg 5X melatonin per tablet.

Recommended dosage: 3 tablets half an hour before bed time for sleep problems; 2 tablets per day for general well-being.
