Eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis) 400mg - 100 Caps

The name of this herb gives some indication as to one of its historical uses – in conditions relating to the eye. In the 14 th century it was used as an eye medicine and it has been described as a herb to ‘cure all evils of the eye’. Today it is sometimes used to help relieve itchy irritated eyes.

Eyebright has anti-inflammatory and astringent properties, as well as being anti-catarrhal, making it useful to relieve watery catarrhal conditions of the nose, sinus and middle ear, including sinusitis.

Therapeutic Use
Eyebright has traditionally been used for the temporary relief of symptoms of nasal catarrh, hayfever, and sinusitis.

Active Ingredient
Each ‘preservative free’ capsule contains 400mg of Euphrasia officinalis herb powder.

Dosage
For adults: take two to four capsules with a meal three times daily.
