Gymnema has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for over 2000 years to help maintain healthy blood sugar levels. It has an unusual property that when leaves of this plant are chewed or ingested, the taste of sugar and all sweet substances suppressed, hence the name guymar, meaning ‘sugar destroying’. Part used is the leaf.

Therapeutic Use
May help to maintain healthy blood sugar levels already in the normal range. May have a suppressing effect on the taste buds, making sugar cravings less desirable which may help to reduce appetite.
 
Active Ingredients
Each `Preservative Free` capsule contains extract equiv. dry; Gymnema Sylvestre Leaf Powder 2g
 
Dosage
For Adults over 18 years of age: Take two capsules one to two times daily just before meals or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare practitioner.
 
Caution
If taking insulin or general blood glucose medication, seek the advice of a healthcare practitioner before taking. Do not take if pregnant or breastfeeding.
