Commonly referred to as ‘Shatavari’, Asparagus racemosus has been used medicinally for centuries in Traditional Ayurvedic Medicine. Shatavari means ‘she who possesses a hundred husbands’, referring to the tonic and rejuvenative effect of the herb on the female reproductive organs. Shatavari is the main Ayurvedic rejuvenative for the female—as is Ashwagandha (Withania) for the male, although both have some action on both sexes.

Therapeutic Use

Asparagus, referred to as Shatavari in traditional Ayurvedic Medicine has a balancing, nourishing and toning effect on the female reproductive system by helping to maintain menstrual wellness and assist sexual debility. Asparagus’ galactagogue properties may also assist in promoting the production of breast milk in nursing mothers.

Each `Preservative Free` capsule contains extract equiv. dry; Asparagus racemosus Root Powder 1g

Dosage

For Adults take one capsule twice daily with water or as directed by your Healthcare Professional. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare professional.
