This combination of herbs has an affinity for the female reproductive system, providing a tonic effect, as well as supporting the adrenal glands.

• Black Cohosh possesses emmenagogue, anti-spasmodic and sedative properties. It has traditionally been used for dysmenorrhoea and for symptoms such as hot flushes.
• Liquorice is identified in the British Herbal Compendium as being adrenocorticotropic, meaning that it provides support to the adrenal gland. In addition it displays anti-inflammatory and demulcent properties, which make it useful to help relieve temporary coughs.
• Eleuthero (formerly known as Siberian Ginseng) is considered an adaptogen. It was traditionally used as a tonic, particularly during debility and times of lowered resistance.
• Sarsaparilla displays alterative and diuretic properties.
• Squaw Vine is considered an emmenagogue, tonic and diuretic. It was traditionally used to help relieve dysmenorrhoea.
• Blessed Thistle displays tonic and emmenagogue properties.
• False Unicorn Root is listed in the British Herbal Pharmacopoeia as a uterine tonic, and can be useful for dysmenorrhoea and symptoms associated with menopause.

Dosage
For adults: take two capsules with a meal three times daily.
