What is Natural Life® Propolis Made From? Propolis is a sticky resin, which seeps from the buds of certain trees. The bees add their salivary secretions and wax flakes then use it to prevent bacterial infection and disease in the hive. Propolis consists of 55% resinous compounds and balsams, 30% beeswax, 10% aromatic oils and 5% bee pollen. Other constituents include flavonoids, amino acids, B vitamins and antibiotic substances.

There are no reported side effects from using Propolis and no known adverse effects when taken with prescribed medication.
